This world is make-believe. The creative minds of those who create it, bond with it, and enjoy it. The history is kind of confusing, so this page is dedicated to just that.
Before humans the supernatural (species created by many Gods and Goddesses) lived on Earth. Some of those species include the Brinncaillagh (Glittawitch), Wizards, Elven races, etc. If you want to look at it one way, think Lord of the Rings without “Men” in our history, there would be races like Hobbits, Dwarves, etc. They lived in territories and lived life and prayed to their own gods and had their own individual ways of life. Some of these races were immortal, and some mortal.
* Before humans there were created mortal beings who were called Egyptines, Mayans, and even Romans. These names may vary (see Egyptians and Egyptines) because Humans don’t always get it right. These groups of mortal beings created by gods worshiped the human gods of Egyptians, Romans, Mayans, etc, as YOU know it. When they died out or were taken away from the Earth, humans would learn of them and create their own basis... usually without really knowing about the other world before, but all of this was worked by the Gods in purpose and reason.
Á Màrrach Àilean is where the Glittawitch were created and have lived ever since. Yes, hundreds of thousands of years. These were among the first of the Supernatural beings created in the Old World. This is the oldest city known to the Old World and the New World.
Not too long before Humans were created and given the Earth, all of the Gods and Goddesses took away their created people. The Glittawitch were among the few (witches, shifters, and much later vampires) who were allowed to stay - but with restrictions and power downgrades. Witches, Shifters, and later Vampires could blend into the Human world. What did the Glish do, you ask?
The Humans didn’t know about the supernatural races for a very long time in their history. If a Witch was found out, they burned them, but it was never proved they existed. Same for shifters, and later Vampires. However, the Glittawitch were never known until about 200 years ago. Á Màrrach Àilean was hidden from the human races, much like Faerie is. When a Glish ventured out into the human world and crossed the AMA borders of magick, their hair and eyes would become plain. Their magick, however, would stay the same. In this way, Glittawitch did not invoke their history and abilities in Human history, at least not with being known.
Á Màrrach Àilean was opened to the world. It eventually became the supernatural City of the world. Some ancient species resurfaced and lived in the great magickal city, and some humans chose to live here.
