Can I use a model someone else has used?
Yes, as long as the model looks different in the photo you want to use. Models (esp females) tend to transform and can look very different. If a person is using a model and you are using the same model and they have a problem with it, you deal with it amongst each other. We just put up the profiles and read the characters stats. You deal with those sorts of non-important issues.

Where can I get my picture's coloured/altered?
When submitting a full profile you can ask for the picture to be colored or altered. If you don't ask, we won't do it. We have quite a few people who can do this and none of us mind it.
Here are some guidelines when coloring pictures (For Glittawitch characters):
Light colored hair? Find a light haired model. For REALLY light colors, you need a true blonde.
Try to find a picture where it would be easy to color hair. Sometimes, a mish-mosh of hair from all angles is hard to color without coloring skin or background, etc.
Shades of hair in your picture? Then there will be shades in your colored image.
The same kind of thing goes for Eyes.

Can my character be a half-breed?
Yes, as long as you understand that the main GMs (Ivy and Rissa) have the right to turn down any character, and we really look deep into half-breeds and say no to quite a few. If you have the history down pat, the powers, and the knowledge we dont mind.

How allergic are lycans to silver? I know if they're wounded, it'll be hard to heal and take longer, but can they even touch it?
Lycanthropes (were-animals) are like Vampires. It depends. Usually, touching Silver will not hurt a wereanimal. Wearing a silver ring might not even bother them. But being cut or hurt with silver? That'll do it.

Can I use a similar name that is already being used? Furthermore, Can I use a name that someone has mentioned in their profile but is not currently being played?
Basically it's all about choice and opinion. If you have a Marie and someone has a Mary, we honestly don't care and neither should the respective others. If you have a Mary and someone has a Marry, well, that is the same name. There are some circumstances and instances which are allowed. Like Alexander and Aleksander. Alek and Alex are different. Nikolas and Nickolus, Las and Los. It might LOOK the same, and generally SOUND the same... but they arnt the exact SAME. Understood?
However, as always, its all about choice & opinion! Ask the person who is using the similar name first.
Second part of that question. If the name is common like George or Emily, no one is going to mind. But if the name is like Luciendre or Titan is used in a profile and you want to use it, why not contact that person first and see if you can play THAT person mentioned?
