Pre Civilization: The Creation

The creation of the Elders/Originals.
Their children. No Houses. Possibly millions of years ago. Earth still being formed into its future state.
Many wars between Nature and Hell, as well as Gods/Goddesses.

- Radical Houses are usually marked with non-Gaelic names. Houses that changed names and ideals usually did not change leadership.

  The Retaliation.
Time of Balance & Chaos. Creation of Neutral Houses, or Houses observe both Traditional and Radical ideals:

- Some houses branched off from in-fighting from the last war in other houses. Observe Kione and Ailil, Deireadh, Painborn, and Feayr, ect.
** Return of the Gods

  The Peace.
Lasted hundreds of thousands of years. The pause where everything was peaceful and all Houses developed and strengthened.
Gods/Goddesses failed the Earth and fled, limiting breeding among supernaturals.
Breeding between species.
A lot of Originals went to sleep at this time. A lot were also stripped of their powers over Earth, Nature, and all things concidering. This did not effect houses, but did effect breeding among Glittawitch.

**The Green & The Grey Alliance

  The Second Court War.
Glittawitch Medieval Era.
Alliances raised. Silence falls and much was secretive. Was caused by Osiris, the Lady of the House of Painborn and the re-apperance of Shaltoth. Osiris killed 5 of the Queens children and slaughtered them. All but two were ultimatly killed. Cazarra Painborn and Shaltoth were behind his sudden insanity, and on their own they caused many problems in the Glittawitch Community by invading, destroying, and even killing. Houses fought against the three, getting their own people killed, and there was no real end in sight. Osiris fled in his grief and realization that he had become evil.

  The Struggle.

Celtigar changed to Di Vulp
Occured immediately after the Second Court War. Celtigar, founded by Osiris, wanted to disassociate from the man who had caused so much grief. They renamed Di Vulp and reshaped a little in order to heal themselves and move on from recent events.

Humans Thrived (humans ancient histories, cultures, ect)

The last war was solved and pieces picked up. Not many had died and the Glish returned to a long state of propsperity.
This is the happiest time in Glittawitch History. During this time there was also a Baby Boom of Glittachildren. Humans were also starting to fully form their own ancient history.

Basically this is the human 19th-20th century.
Á Màrrach Àilean is declared as the worlds first free supernatural country.
Alliance between many superntural beings and their Gods.
The re-apperance of many old school species. Wizards, Demons, ect.

  The Third Court War.
The Bloodiest War yet. Highest Body Count.
Shaltoth had built up enough strength and support from the Painborns and the Diavols to again re-emerge. This occured during the huamn year 2000 and was meant to look like The Apocalypse, and the war is sometimes referred to as that. The Third Court War was short, only six months, but was just as bloody and terrible as the Second Court War. Many leaders of Houses were kidnapped, tortured, and killed. There was a higher body count than in the Second Court War, and many important people were lost.
**The Harsh Dawn

  The Reconstruction.
Current Day.
It is currently five years after the end of the Third Court War. A lot of emotion still hangs, and the fear of another war is very real.
There were three major loses during the war and during the Reconstruction. It was found that there were not enough members or leaders to stay together. La Tigrah, Sapphyre and Mórach were gone. It was at this time that a Revival of two older houses took place. Réalta was the reshaped La Tigrah took on some of Mórach's powers. Sirona and Machina were brand new houses for a brand new day.
Di Vulp returned to their former name of "Celtigar" and Osiris was finally publically forgiven.
Gealach had Vanished during the Third Court War. Its house members were wiped out of memory. The house was fully restored in power in 2003, though some members still have side effects.

Detailed Events

The Dragon Wars happened when Dragons of Mother Earth rebelled against beings on the Earth. The cause of there untrust was caused, on purpose, by a Glittawitch Royal named Renenutet Treóir. The Dragons killed many and were banished to a different dimension. This is why there are no longer Dragons on Earth. Renenutet was inprisioned for her actions and is said to be burried alive in the old world Black Forest.

The Empire was a band of preternatural beings called Aphiliens. They were much like the Glittawitch in the same sense as they were created by a Goddess. Think of them as the real world Romans. They conquered much of the Ancient world, though they never got full hold on Á Màrrach Àilean, but were always invading. The Aphiliens had dark hair and wings of all shapes and sizes. Their skin was often either pitch black or pure milk-like in color. Their eyes were red, orange, or complete blackness. They were beautiful, destructive, and eventually killed during The Great Extermination.

The Crimson Plague was the making of Cazarra Ahmar during The First Court War. She released a plague that with the smallest nip or cut of the flesh all of your blood would drain. This would leave Immortal beings temporarily limp and her army would slaughter them into pieces, and spread the body parts in different ends of The Earth so that they would never reform. Cazarra would earn the nickname of Crimson Plague for thousands of years to come.

The New World of Atlantis was the hot spot on the Ancient Globe. It was far from Ancient Á Màrrach Àilean. It was a very large Island in which ancient (and magickal) technology was thriving. Above the grounds of Atlantis was a floating city with the largest castle known to the Ancient World. Atlantis would sink to the bottom of the sea, and the floating city above would dissapear during the early time of the Glittawitch Enlightenment.

The New Court of the Glittawitch came about when the Elder Megaera worked with the Queen to set up the new method of government which is still being used today. Tholk Noa, revolutionary activists who helped bring about the First Court War in order to further social change, helped the Radical Houses to form and to help focus all of the Houses on setting strong foundations so that they would last for millenia to come.

The Return of the Gods was futile. The Gods had been mad at the Immortals for some time now and finally had had enough. They came down to Earth, in secret and disguise, to find out the bad seeds of the Immortals. When they were found out, many Gods were slaughtered by the more evil Immortal beings as a message to leave them alone. However, this did not send the right message. The remaining Gods, along with many Goddesses, rained down in terror. These were times of fire-rain, death of crops, sickness, and change of land.

The Great Extermination happened at the end of The Return of the Gods and the start of the Peace. Instead of hurting the innocent with their rain of terror on the Immortals, the Gods & Goddesses band together and extermiated litterally hundreds of thousands of Immortals leaving very little on Earth.

Teferi's Peace happened after the Great Externmination. The reason this time in Glittawitch History is called The Peace is because it is was a long pause in the Glittawitch History where times were easier after a very large happening of Gods.
After The Great Extermination, which indeed killed off some of her own people, Teferi (Aristara) promised the Gods, and Glitta, that she would wind down her peoples power as well as well as give them more mortality than immortality. The Originals she created (that were still alive) were pretty much wiped of their powers. They could no longer create, guard, or protect that which they were made for. Other Glish that had high end powers were stripped down as well. It was also at this time that she made the Glittawitch as a whole less likely to survive high end injurys.

The Green & The Grey Alliance During The Peace, many interspecies alliances were formed, in order to promote good will among the inhabitants of the earth. The Original known as Alika formed The Green Alliance with the Fae which still continues today and a glittawitch named Violannt Frost formed The Grey Alliance with the vampires.

The Brawl & The Thinning. They attacks that lasted for many years after the Second Court War, led by Balor Painborn, was called The Brawl. They were random attacks of terror that destroyed many things out of anger and anarchy, and eventually were silenced, though they started their own House, Diavol. With so many dead, those sensitive to spirits found a new calling. The night called The Thinning was the first night after the end of the Second Court War when the veil between worlds was thinnest, and those sensitive discovered the anguish of the souls lost during the War. After coming together that night with that call, they formed Uilioc.

After a very, very, long drawn out war there came the Glittawitch Era of Enlightenment. It was at this time that the Glittawitch Renaissance happened. Many Originals surfaced to help in the aftereffect, like Alika who helped heal and calm the masses, Leanan who inspired the population again to move to the arts, Esperenza who brought vividness and colour back. Humans began to form their own history, and the glittawitches began to really interact with them.

The Musaire happened during The Enlightenment. It was a festival that lasted literally for years, full of arts, dance, and music. The Musaire is still celebrated every year during spring time.

During the 19th-21th Century (The Glittawitch Revival) the humans are gaining suspicious of glittawitch abilities, and started to ostracize them and hurt them in any way they could. Usually this was against younger glish who could still be very much harmed, and this outraged the glittawitch world. The Human War resulted. Glish and other supernatural species re-emerged and re-cemented their alliances, coming together to battle against the humans, who outnumbered them. At the end of the Human War was The Establishment, where Á Màrrach Àilean was declared as the worlds first free supernatural country. The Queen put out Hope Calls to the supernatural creatures of the world and invited them to AMA. By the human time of the 1980s, most creatures could again interact safely with humans, though it isn't as it was during The Peace.

The Return of many preternatural beings began during the Glittawitch Revival. They had made personal alliances with The Gods to be able to return to The Earth. It was at this time that many preternatural beings (such as modern vampires, wizards, ect) made their full introduction to the Humans. Before they had lived amongst them as humans and tried to hide what they were. It was during these times that the humans fully began to understand that the world had once belonged to other beings.

The Harsh Dawn was organized directly after the Third Court War. It was a three day memorial progression honouring and mourning those lost in the Third Court War that started at dawn.
