Rules & Guides

Play as many characters as you can handle. If you cannot handle as many as you have made because of offline things (personal, school, holiday, sickness, ect) let us know immediately. You won't lose your characters - but we don't need them hogging up the played character listing.

Rules/Guidlines:

Do not Power Play (PP) a character. If you need to PP a character (like moving them around, touching them in extreme, talking for them, etc) please ask permission and post an OOC at the beginning of The Post stating that you had permission. No one wants to be walked over.
* Note: Unless a character says something out loud, do not assume you know what they are thinking. Just because it says something in a profile does not mean it is common knowledge. If a character is hiding something - your character most likely will NOT know - unless told. Try to be courteous in this way.

You write your character in past tense. You do not write AS your character.
Example of what NOT to do: I am wearing jeans and they feel sexy.
Example of what is right: She wore tight jeans. She knew they were sexy.
You can write your personal thoughts rather than using symbols. However, you must always write out your characters words with the right symbolage (which would be " "). If your character knows Telepathy use either ^ ^ or * * as both are widely used in RPGs.

The Subject Line of your Post should follow as following.
Character Name: Post Title (characters & places you are posting to)
Example Subject Line Gwenyth: finding a way home (attn: Dayna, Mable, Anyone @ The Castle)

Most importantly to everyone. Space your posts. After your character says something hit your space bar twice so that you start a new paragraph. After you are done with one writing statement/paragraph do the same. We want to see spaces. Act as if you are seriously writing something. We do not want to see a post that is all bundled up together. Try to use spell checker and getting characters names right.

Finally make sure you are signing off your posts. You may have a signature at the end of your post and it can contain anything you want as long as it states your characters name.

If you don't already belong to this RP, joining will be very easy for you.

How to Join

First: Email us any questions you have. There are many of us who are willing to help. Try joining the OOC list and email the entire group. Everyone is excited about a new member.

Second: Fill out a The Profile There are instructions on how to fill out the correct fields, in case there is any confusion. As long as a blank profile for you to fill out.

Third: Send the profile to the The Bellas

You should hear back from us within a day or two. If you don't hear back right away, you can contact us via other means (visit the Bellas page).

If you already have your first profile in, and it's been approved, you may continue to send in profiles.
