Hobbies & Talents: Darkness and shadows. He was
created to govern the night and those places cast in
darkness. He can manipulate shadows and darkness, and
is strongest under the dark of night. He has
posession of dark magicks, both good and bad and he
knows much about the land of the dead and spirits.
Nocturne also likes music, especially rock and roll,
metal and other dark forms. He plays the guitar and
the bass very well and is decent at drums.
Apperance/Personality: Nocturne is darkness
personified. He is tall and strongly built, but not
too bulky. But he is imposing and his presence can be
frightening. His hair is dark like the night itself
as are his eyes, which fall like two black holes. His
skin is pale in contrast, no matter now much time he
spends in the sun. To most Nocturne is seen as a bit
of a loner, a brooder and perhaps a bit frightening,
for he is the embodiement of nighttime and darkness.
He is clever and cunning and not someone to be messed
with, but he has a good side as well. He can be very
protective of those close to him and even
affectionate, although few see this side. He has a
dark sense of humour, naturally.
Other Important Information
History:
Oidhche was the eighth created by Teferi. He
was made to govern darkness and the night, and was
given a name that would later come to mean just that –
‘night’. He walked in shadows and felt most at home
when the sun was down and the moon was up, and he
often slept during the day. He was a bit of a loner
but had some friends and some lovers. The most
noteable was Esperenza Faire. They became involved
while Houses were Organizing and were together for a
long long time. It was with her that he had his most
children. And when they pareted it was amicable, and
they have remained very good friends until this day.
He saw many things over his life and always was there,
part of the darkness, leading shadows and nighttime.
He was a man of balance, and know that night needed
day and dark needed light and that sometimes bad was
needed for good to flourish. He had other friends,
other lovers and many experiences. He fought in wars,
slept for periods, explored the globe and various
cultures. Along the way he started going by the name
Nocturne, which had a ring that he liked.
In the most recent century, he saw the rise of music
and other things that he liked. He liked the drive
and the dark emotion behind it and entered into that
culture. And when rock and roll died in the
seventies, he put himself into a slumber, knowing he
would not like what came next. Nocturne has only
recently woken, ready for new things, darkness
clinging to him.
