Personality/Demeanor: Siryn is as enigmatic and enchanting as her name suggests. A woman of mystery and allure, with ancient beauties and timeless wisdom. She is warm and open with her family, but wary with the rest of the world. Strong walls have been constructed over time and experience, and it takes a lot for a person to work through them. However once a person has made their way into Siryn's confidence, they will find her a loyal, caring, fierce friend. The wildness that she gained in her youth is always there, beneath the surface, waiting for the right moment to be set free, and she never quite seems like something from modern times. When provoked, she can be fierce and as protective as a mother bear when her cubs are threatened.

Magickal Talents: Through the years, she has learned most all of the magicks House Gealach has to teach. Her spellsinging is her greatest ability, and she can weave spells with her voice, rivaled or surpassed only by few others in her House.
Strengths: She has had great life experiences, has witnessed much and is an intelligent, wise woman, with much internal strength. Because of her age, she is very skilled in magics. She has a strong band of family and friends around her, if she ever needed aid.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Her close ties to her family - she would do anything for them, including sacrifice herself. She is not wholly fond of many modern technologies, although she tries to keep up. But she prefers things at their base, living from nature and the Mother alone.

Appearance: Upon first glance, Siryn looks like someing from myth, a dryad or a sylph slipped from the woods - traits born of her mother, the Original Alika. She is a woman of hidden strengths, lithe and agile, with legs built for running wild through the forests. Her curves are modest, but pleasant, and she is unabashed when it comes to nudity. She has a tangle of jungle green hair, which tumbles in waves down her back when set free, but which is often work twisted up and back, held in place and decorated with various old jewels and adorements.
Voice: A haunting and melodic contralto. When hearing her voice, the reason for her name becomes evident.
Height: 5'6". Weight: 126 lbs.
Tattoos/Piercings: Her ears are pierced once. She has extensive tattoos - curves of fish and vines and flowered arrangements across her shoulders and mid-way down her arms. Vines and nocturnal flowers whirl together around her back and stomach, with two crescent moons circling her navel.

+History+
Siryn was thusly named because at the moment of her birth, she let loose a haunting cry, a wail like a banshee that soared through the moonlit night. She was raised largely by her mother, Alika, and spent much of her childhood in Faerie, running wild and free with the faerie children. She was an untamed thing with a love of nature, especially the nighttime in which she had been born.
She was still a wild thing of nature when she emerged from faerie as a young maiden, ready to join one of the Houses that were newly forming. Immediately, she was dran to Gealach, the House of the moon and mystery. It seemed a perfect fit. It was during this time that she met the Original Aesir, and began a short love affair. It was passionate and burned like a flame, extinguishing as quickly as it began. It left Siryn pregnant which what would be the first two of her children - the twins Radiance and Desolace.
Over the years, her family would grow in starts and stops. Siryn learned early not to give out her heart like candy, and those romances she did have were strong and soul-bound, matters of the heart. To her family she gave herself completely, and she has remained very close with her children throughout the years, welcoming with joy all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren that have come after.
In recent years, she was, as the bulk of her House, affected dramatically by the Third Court War. Taken along with the House by some of House Painborn, she has suffered gaps in memory since her return, and does not have a clear picture what had happened. Surrounded by her family upon her return, she - and her other Gealach family members - were cared for until they were well enough to enter the world again.
